Why can't he be your neighbor?

Chris Kiberd Chris Kiberd is a nine-year veteran of the Portsmouth Police Department. Outgoing and friendly, Chris has gained the trust of community members. Portsmouth feels like his community.

Chris is a homeowner in Rochester where he lives with his wife and five-month-old baby girl. They like their home, but living more than 30 minutes away from work and friends has become a real burden. “Between my wife and I, we pay over $70 dollars a month just in tolls. We pay three times that for gas.”

He calls the lack of affordable housing in the area “really frustrating.” Recently, Chris put is house on the market hoping to someday move closer to his job and support system in Portsmouth.

The Workforce Housing Coalition invites YOU to be part of the solution.
