Why can't he be your neighbor?

Brian KentLieutenant Brian Kent lives in Hampton and has served the Town of Hampton Falls as a volunteer fire fighter for 15 years.

The down economy has made Brian a busy man, fronting two family businesses to make ends meet. Five years ago, Brian’s construction company was thriving, and he was finally able to purchase a home for his wife and three teenage children. But the American Dream faded when Brian fell victim to the sub-prime mortgage meltdown. His mortgage payment tripled while his lender went out of business.

The family has managed to hang on to their home, having recently worked out anew payment plan. He knows his situation is not unique, but wishes communities would support the middle class and create more diversity by offering affordable housing.

The Workforce Housing Coalition invites YOU to be part of the solution.
With the support of our members, we tackle the complex issues that contribute to our region’s limited housing options. Become a member now! Online or by mail.
